Knots of the Human Heart

If you regularly pass by Morley College in Westminster Bridge Road, look out for the 3.2 metre high sculpture Sword Fish Masquerade that will be occupying the traffic island outside Morley Gallery until 27 April. The sculpture, installed with the help of Southwark Council, is inspired by the Kalabari Masquerades of Nigeria and is part of an exhibition of work by Sokari Douglas Camp. The established sculptor, who works in welded steel, fuses the realities of London and Nigeria and raises questions about the world we live in.
