A Very Private Passion

This Holy Week a challenging new play is visiting two churches in SE1. Set in modern-day South London, it's described as a "startling and thought provoking parable for our time" inspired by the time Christ spent in Gethesmane prior to his crucifixion. Written by Michael Wicherek and performed by the Box Clever Theatre Company, A Very Private Passion will be performed at St John's Waterloo on Tuesday 18 April at 7.30pm, followed by a debate. It will also be performed at Southwark Cathedral (in the south transept) on Maundy Thursday 20 April at 8pm. For booking information contact Box Clever on 020 7357 0550 or email [email protected] Note that the play is not suitable for children.
