Southwark Social Investment Forum

The Southwark Social Investment Forum holds an open meeting in the Clink Prison Museum in Clink Street, every second Thursday of the month 6-8pm. SSIF explores ways in which our borough's communities can develop complementary currencies to build up the local economy and increase resilience and self-reliance, including the development of Credit Unions, Local Exchange Trading Systems, Hourbank and Barter, relating all these to innovation in local inter-trading at personal and small business levels.
