AWG celebrates 25 years at Waterloo Action Centre

The Association of Waterloo Groups - an umbrella body for 30 community groups in the Waterloo area - this month celebrates 25 years at the Waterloo Action Centre in Baylis Road. The AWG has a strong track record in ensuring that the needs of the local community are reflected in new developments on the South Bank. AWG relies entirely on donations of money and services to funds its work. Now with so many more people living in the Waterloo area the association is looking for new members to help build "an integrated society truly representative of Waterloo today".

The Association of Waterloo Groups holds its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 14 September at 7pm. The venue is Waterloo Action Centre, 14 Baylis Road.
