SE1's own docusoap

Forget Hotel, Airport and The Cruise, SE1's very own docusoap has recently hit London's screens.

The Borough is a six-part series looking at the regeneration of the Borough area, described by Radio Times as "a small and rundown part of the capital". The observational documentary is sure to be essential viewing for anyone with an interest in this explosive part of central London.

The first programmes have followed Council Leader Niall Duffy and Cathedral Ward councillor Hilary Wines, featured Vinopolis, the Millennium Bridge and Southwark Cathedral and looked at attempts to balance the requirements of visitors with the needs of local residents. The Borough is a regional programme not shown outside London.
