Dramatic police chase in SE1
Six people have been injured after their car crashed and burst into flames while being chased by police in Southwark.
Two police officers leaving Southwark police station in Borough High Street spotted a car, which had been reported stolen, collide with another vehicle.They gave chase but it sped off down the wrong side of the road and went round a roundabout the wrong way before the driver lost control.The car hit a pedestrian area and a tree, then some railings before ending up on its roof on the Old Kent Road and catching fire.
