Plans for the 66-storey London Bridge Tower have been given a boost by reports that Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts is to open a 200-room, five-star hotel.
Shangri-La is the first tenant to sign up for the tower, which is backed by a consortium led by Sellar Property Group.
The paper reports that construction is due to start this year, for completion in 2009.
