The London Eye reopened to the public last week just in time for the half term break after its annual month-long maintenance closure. The attraction celebrates its fifth birthday this year.
During the January closure the ticket office has been redesigned and fitted with three times as many admission tills. A new online booking system has also been launched which enables customers to print their own tickets before leaving home.
"The London Eye celebrates its fifth anniversary this year so we are very excited about re-opening and welcoming our visitors back," said managing director David Sharpe. "In five short years, the wheel has become the UK's top attraction and a much loved icon for Britain."
Last weekend the London Eye was lit in a romantic shade of pink to mark St Valentine's Day.
