Two of London's worst traffic accident blackspots are in SE1, according to a new league table.
New figures compiled by Transport for London show that the Elephant and Castle roundabout has been the scene of 64 collisions in three years, and there were more than 54 at Vauxhall Cross.
The Elephant takes fourth place in the league table, which is headed by the Romford Road (A406) in Redbridge, with 79 accidents over three years.
The recently remodelled junction at Vauxhall Cross is at ninth place, just above the Blackwall Tunnel where there were 53 incidents.
TfL say that the figures compare favourably to a similar list compiled three years ago.
