London Bridge closes for resurfacing

Road resurfacing will close London Bridge from 8pm on Friday 11 May until 4am on Monday 14 May.

Southwark Council's Highway Infrastructure Group is warning motorists to steer clear of the area as severe traffic congestion is anticipated.

Southwark Council has announced the following diversions:
• Northbound traffic will be diverted to use either Southwark or Tower bridges.
• Southbound traffic will be diverted via Monument Street to Lower Thames Street (towards Tower Bridge) and Monument Street and Fish Street Hill to Lower Thames Street (towards Southwark Bridge).
