Fraud charges against Park Street resident Maureen Lynch have been dropped after the Crown Prosecution Service failed to present any evidence at Tower Bridge Magistrates Court last week.
Lynch, 55, had been accused of stealing thousands of pounds from charity Mothers Against Guns, of which she was treasurer.
The magistrate ordered the case be discharged at a hearing last Monday.
The case is now being reviewed by the CPS.
