A murder enquiry has begun after a death in Lynton Road. Two local men have been arrested.
Officers were called at 5.35pm on Thursday 1 September to a flat in Lynton Road.
A woman, believed to be in her 30s, was confirmed dead at the scene.
Police say that they are not releasing her identity at this stage as they await formal identification, and are still attempting to reach all next of kin.
A post mortem at Greenwich Mortuary on Friday gave cause of death as asphyxiation.

On Thursdy two men from the local area – one aged 59 and another in his 20s – were arrested in connection with the enquiry and were taken to south London police stations. The 59-year-old has been bailed to return later this month pending further enquiries; the younger man remains in custody.
