Those queuing on Bankside yesterday to get into Westminster Hall were treated to the sight of fundraisers for disability care charity Leonard Cheshire abseiling down the front of Tate Modern.
Supervised by a team of professionals, the participants dropped 70 ft to the ground on the riverside frontage of the former Bankside Power Station.
Each participant paid a £20 registration fee and raised a minimum of £80 for Leonard Cheshire to take part on the day.
