New website for Royal Festival Hall

The Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank has recently unveiled its new website.

As before, the website lists and sells tickets for events taking place at the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room, but the search and booking process has been streamlined.

Alternatively, they can browsie the website by art form, using the same categories that appear in the RFH's southbank magazine.

Visitors to the site can subscribe to weekly email bulletins for updates on events on the South Bank.

Web Editor Jan Thomas says that conviencience is the key: “Our new site is the next stage in helping our customers to find events and buy tickets online with ease and speed.”

Ticket purchases made via the website are no longer subject to a booking fee

Future improvements to the site will include an exclusive section for RFH members.

A new website for the neighbouring Hayward Gallery, also part of the South Bank Centre complex, is due to launch in mid-June.
