Fish! calls in administrators
SE1-based restaurant chain Fish! is calling in administrators after failing to secure financing for a restructuring plan.
The chain opened its first restaurant in Borough Market, and has another outlet at County Hall, close to the London Eye. The company's headquarters is in Ayres Street.
"The board of Fish! believes that this course of action provides the best option for delivering a stable environment in which all the operations of the group will continue to trade," the company says.
Two weeks ago it closed restaurants in Putney, Battersea, Leeds and Manchester, cutting around 12 jobs.
Shares in Fish! plc were suspended at 13.5p.
