King’s delays final decision on Aga Khan plan

The Council of King's College London last night met to discuss the offer from the Aga Khan to purchase a block of land at St Thomas' Hospital for an Islamic cultural centre.

According to a press statement issued today, King's has "resolved to continue with plans to develop Block 9 as an academic/health centre in conjunction with Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust, and to examine other available plans. A detailed report will be presented to the Council at its October meeting."
