Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man turned up at St. Thomas' Hospital on Thursday 16 November with gunshot wounds to his chest.
The victim, who is described as a black man aged approx 22 years, 6' with
short hair, which has distinctive zigzag cuts into the sides, gave false details to both police and medical staff before absconding from hospital after initial treatment.
Officers from Operation Trident are appealing for the victim to come forward, and for anyone who may knowthe victim or have information on how he may have come to receive his injuries, to call 020 8785 8580; or to remain anonymous, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
