The Mayors of Berlin, New York and Paris will be present at next Tuesday's Royal opening of City Hall.
This week GLA staff are moving into the building which is alongside Potters Fields and already the public is being admitted to the ground floor. It is possible to view a huge model of London which includes proposed buildings in SE1.
The City Hall cafe is open to the public 8am to 8pm on weekdays.
The Queen's visit and the opening ceremony will be shown live on BBC1 next Tuesday 23 July at 11am. The previous evening BBC1 is screening a 30 minute programme on the architecture of the building designed by Norman Foster.
