A bizarre sight greeted those out for a Sunday morning Bankside stroll as 600 people on space hoppers filled the Millennium Bridge for a world record attempt.
The publicity stunt was staged by UKTV Gold to promote its new look which features space hoppers.
600 people on specially produced gold space hoppers bounced simultaneously for a minute in a bid to beat the previous record of 551 people.
"I'm delighted with the fantastic turnout today and chuffed to bits to have broken the Guinness World Record," said UKTV's James Newton.
"It was truly an amazing sight as hundreds of people bounced over the bridge on gold space hoppers and a perfect way to celebrate our new look and host of exciting new shows."
