The Friends of Archbishops Park are holding a consultation day on Saturday 21 September.
After two years work and campaigning £35,000 has been raised by the Friends for a management plan and, in partnership with Lambeth Council, they are commissioning Landscape Design Associates to produce a plan.
In the park on Saturday from 2-5pm there will be plenty of home made cakes for sale, facepainting and races for the kids. Local gardening project Roots and Shoots will lead a nature walk.
Archbishop's Park was once part of the Lambeth Palace garden. Half the private garden was opened to enable nearby residents to enjoy open space.
