Two men appeared at Tower Bridge Magistrates Court on Friday in connection with the bank holiday Monday shooting incident in the Old Kent Road.
23-year old Bhamian Abujaber Gayle has been charged with the attempted murder of a 30-year-old woman in the Old Kent Road on Monday 27 August, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, attempting to obtain a UK Passport by deception.
Gayle, who is self-employed and lives in Norwood, was also charged with possession of a handgun and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life on Thursday 30 August.
Unemployed Robert Tate, 24, of Battersea, also appeared at Tower Bridge Magistrates Court on Friday charged with possession of a handgun, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life on Thursday 30 August and entering the UK in breach of a deportation order.
Both were remanded in custody and appear on 7 December at the Central Criminal Court.
