The Livelihood section of next Sunday’s Countryside March is due to end in SE1.
The march begins in the City at 10am and, after passing down Whitehall, the procession of demonstrators will head across Westminster Bridge to make their way home from SE1. The official end for an estimated 200,000 protesters from the countryside is County Hall. The South Bank and Bankside are expected to be both an arrival and departure point for many coming by both road and rail.
Parking is being suspended in both York Road and Stamford Street whilst Southwark Street is being reserved for coach parking.
London Bridge, Southwark Bridge and Tower Bridge are all being closed to traffic for the day. Assembling on traffic-free Southwark Bridge will be first the invited International marchers and, in the early afternoon, sympathisers from the Société de Vénerie in France.
Many marchers have already booked bed and breakfast at Bankside House in order to be within walking distance of the start of the march.
