Free boat service on tube strike day
As on previous tube strike days, London Underground will be financing a special free 'turn-up-and-go' boat service, capable of transporting around 1,500 people per hour.
The free boat service will operate during the morning and evening peaks between Tower, Blackfriars, Embankment, Westminster and Waterloo piers and will run every 10 to 15 minutes from 6.00am until 10.00am and again from 4.20pm until 8.00pm.
