Following our report last week about charity events in the spectacular London's Living Room space at City Hall, the GLA has confirmed that there are plans to open London's Living Room on a regular basis.
As well as GLA events and commecial and charity hire, London's Living Room is also used for London Partnerships registrations, which are open to heterosexual and same sex couples, and it has already been opened to the public on several other occasions.
Other parts of City Hall have more regular public access, with the City Hall café and the lower ground floor area open on weekday. Members of the public can also visit the Chamber when meetings are taking place.
Currently there is also a Black History Month exhibition taking place on the 2nd floor, by the Chamber entrance, which is free to the public.
