Man stabbed at Elephant & Castle
A man in his mid-30s is in a critical condition at a South London hospital after he was stabbed in London Road at the Elephant and Castle.
The incident appears to have happened at a bus stop outside South Bank Technopark – part of London South Bank University – in London Road on Tuesday evening.
LBC Radio reports that the incident occurred at about 8.15pm.
London Road was closed to southbound traffic and buses were diverted via Borough Road.
The incident led to severe traffic congestion in London Road and Westminster Bridge Road.
