Three artists at the Waterloo Gallery

London SE1 website team

Three Artists is an exhibition highlighting work spanning painting, drawing, sculpture and video installation.

Three artists

The venue is the Waterloo Gallery which is part of the better-known Waterloo Action Centre at the start of Baylis Road. The cool exhibition space has
Tania Holland's seductive textural paintings hovering tantalisingly between abstraction and figuration.

Andrew Cookson's charcoal drawings provide a stark contrast and deal with a personal interpretation of a unique coastal setting in which social and environmental themes are projected. The under the pier view is timely with the Brighton West Pier images from television in our minds.

A television screen shows Rachel Danbury's filmworks exploring themes of identity and subjectivity and the role of myth, language and family.

• Three Artists continues 11.30am to 7pm daily until Saturday 25 January.
