Competitors in the eighth and final stage of this year's Tour of Britain cycle race whizzed past the South Bank Lion as they made a loop across Westminster Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
Both Westminster Bridge and Southwark Bridge were closed to traffic on Saturday because of the race.
The stage was won by Michele Merlo of Italy whilst Norway's s Edvald Boasson Hagen was the overall winner.
The race, which is run in eight stages over 12 days, began in Scunthorpe on 12 September.
On Sunday Southwark Bridge will also be closed to motor vehicles as the Mayor of London's Skyride, a free family cycling event, will be using Lower Thames Street.
