Southwark Police are investigating allegations that a 15-year-old girl was raped at lock-up garages off Welsford Street on Monday night.
The attack is alleged to have happened at about 9pm on Monday 21 September.
Police say that the 15-year-old victim was walking along Lynton Road in Bermondsey when she was grabbed by a male (believed to be aged about 17), forced to a nearby lock-up garage area off Welsford Street and raped.
No arrests have been made so far. Police officers are continuing to make inquiries.
Welsford Street was still surrounded by police tape on Tuesday morning.
