A man, thought to be in his early 20s, is in hospital with "life-threatening injuries" after a fight in Southwark Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police were called at about 4.35am on Sunday to reports of a fight in Southwark Street, close to the Hop Exchange.
A man, believed to be in his early 20s, was taken to an east London hospital where he has been treated for head injuries. His condition is described as "life-threatening".
A Metropolitan Police spokesman told the London SE1 website that three men have been arrested in connection with the incident and they remain in custody at various police stations.
