For the first time BFI Southbank is hosting a Card Aid charity Christmas card shop.

Charity Christmas card stall on the South Bank

Card Aid has been running pop-up shops since before the term was invented and has raised tens of millions of pounds for good causes.

Card Aid helps over 300 charities access new markets through pop up Christmas card shops that are located all over the City of London selling high quality cards.

Past performance shows that between 40 per cent and 60 per cent of the cost of the card goes to charity. Card Aid claims that some 'charity' cards sold in high street shops actually contribute as little as 2 per cent of the purchase price.

Brenda Bih's stall at BFI Southbank is open Monday to Friday 12 noon to 8.30pm until 23 December.

Brenda's stall also stocks award-winning Peace Oil olive oil that is made in Israel by both Jews and Palestinian Arabs working together.

Other products on sale include Good Gift Tags and Good Gift Advent Calendars from the Good Gift Catalogue. These are products that give to causes as you use them, such as providing money to plant a sapling in a British woodland.
