Assault in Leathermarket Gardens
Part of Leathermarket Gardens and a section of Weston Street have been closed following an early morning incident.
Leathermarket Gardens on Saturday morning
It is understood that a 27 year old male Bermondsey resident was assaulted on Saturday and taken to hospital with head injuries.
A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and police are continuing to search the area.
Weston Street remains closed between the Guy Street junction and Leathermarket Street.
