Vitalijs Janovics murder: Two appear at Old Bailey
Two men charged with the murder of Vitalijs Janovics have been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey in the autumn.
Kai Taliana from SE16 and Khaled Ait-Said from Poplar appeared via video link from prison before Judge Peter Thornton sitting at the Old Bailey on Tuesday morning.
The two men were charged on Friday with the murder of Vitalijs Janovics and had appeared at Croydon Magistrates Court on Saturday.
Mr Vitalijs Janovics, aged 38 and a resident of Long Lane, was murdered in the early hours of Friday morning 22 July close to Bermondsey Underground Station.
Kai Taliana and Khaled Ait-Said are due to return to the Central Criminal Court on Friday 4 November.
