Jeffrey Archer has chosen to return to his SE1 flat whilst on parole.
Lord Archer arrived at his riverside flat having driven from Hollesley Bay open prison. On the way he stopped off at his country home, The Old Vicarage, in Grantchester.
He has served half of his four year sentence for perjury and perverting the course of justice. During the first month on parole a prisoner must have one main address and report weekly to a nearby probation office.
The view from Lord Archer's flat is of the Houses of Parliament where it is understood he hopes, as a peer, to raise the plight of prisoners and their conditions.
