Pedestrian seriously injured in Old Kent Road collision
A pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after collision with a car on Old Kent Road.
The emergency services were called to the incident near the Asda store just before 4.30pm on Monday.
A police spokesman told the London SE1 website that the victim's injuries are believed to be "serious but not life-threatening".
Old Kent Road was closed to traffic in both directions with significant disruption to traffic and local bus services during the Monday evening rush hour.
