Hundreds of activists assembled on the South Bank on Saturday lunchtime to march across the river to 10 Downing Street in protest against National Health Service cuts and privatisation.
Speakers at the start of the demo included Dr Onkar Sahota, a Labour member of the London Assembly.
The march formed up in Concert Hall Approach before crossing Waterloo Bridge.
Participants included members of trade unions, the Labour Party and the Green Party, as well as local campaigners fighting closures of accident and emergency departments at London hospitals.
