A new outdoor gym has been unveiled in Tabard Gardens.
Seven pieces of free-to-use open-air gym equipment have been installed at the southern end of Tabard Gardens, next to the Astroturf pitch.
The opening ceremony was performed by Cllr Barrie Hargrove, Southwark Labour cabinet member for environment and transport, on Saturday morning.
"Only the twelfth outdoor gym in Southwark, this one is unique as it includes two pieces of equipment for children: a mini cross-trainer and a mini recumbent bike," said Cllr Hargrove.
"The equipment also offers cardio toning and warm-up work-outs."
Cllr Hargrove revealed that the council has applied for Tabard Gardens to receive Green Flag status. Judges from Keep Britain Tidy are due to visit the park this month.
Chaucer ward Lib Dem councillors Tim McNally and Poddy Clark also attended the launch event.
Other outdoor gyms in SE1 include Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park, Mint Street Park and the Haddonhall Estate.
