Guardians of the Galaxy movie filmed at Millennium Bridge
Bankside residents were woken on Sunday morning by a low-flying helicopter passing over the Millennium Bridge as part of the filming of a new movie.
The bridge – and part of the Thames Path – was shut to pedestrians to allow the filming to take place.
The filming was for a new movie called Guardians of the Galaxy based on the Marvel comics of the same name.
The movie's cast includes Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close and Benicio Del Toro.
