Borough High Street: man arrested in connection with rape allegation
Detectives are investigating an alleged rape near Borough High Street on Sunday afternoon.
The victim is a woman in her thirties and the offence is believed to have occurred at around 4.45pm on Sunday.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that a 40-year-old man has been arrested and remains in custody.
