Police are appealing for information after a teenage boy was kidnapped and seriously assaulted on Friday afternoon.
Officers were called to reports of a kidnapping of a black teenager between 3pm and 4pm in the Old Kent Road close to the Bricklayers Arms flyover.
The 15-year-old boy was dragged into a black BMW 1 series before being driven to a car park in Cadbury Way – near the Harris Academy Bermondsey – where he was seriously assaulted by two white and two black men believed to be in their twenties.
His injuries are not thought to be life changing.
The four men then drove off in the BMW which was later stopped by officers in Enfield.
The men were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and grievous bodily harm with intent and were taken to south London police stations.
"This was a serious assault which has left the victim traumatised," said Detective Sergeant Iain Duncan Smith from Southwark CID.
"I would urge anyone with information about this incident to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
