Southwark Playhouse is giving away 100 free tickets for the first two weeks of its family Christmas show, Forty Hares and a Princess, to Southwark residents.
Forty Hares and a Princess is a feast of Yiddish, Italian, Japanese and Turkish tales brought to life by five actors and a musician who will delight and dazzle with their storytelling. The production is a collaboration between Southwark Playhouse and Wonderful Beast (who previously showed the hugely popular ‘Maps of Desire' at the Playhouse). It is perfect for adults of all ages over seven years old!
The show runs from 2 to 20 December (excluding 19 Dec) and starts at 7.30pm (3pm for Saturday matinees). The free ticket offer is for 7.30pm performances on 2-12 December only. Normal price tickets cost £10 (£6 concessions) and £5 on Mondays.
To take advantage of this offer please call Southwark Playhouse Box Office on 020 7620 3494 and leave details of your name, telephone number, address and postcode. Also please indicate how many tickets you would like (two tickets per household maximum, subject to availability) and for which night.
The Playhouse is also putting on some free school workshops and performances of Abiyoyo and the Musicians of Brennan for younger children (4 years upwards) between 5-16 December. There will be public matinees on Saturday 6, 13 and 20 December at 11am when all tickets are £5.00.
