Children from a number of SE1 schools enjoyed free visits to South Bank attractions this week as part of an initiative by Merlin Entertainments.
The "Merlin 100" campaign aims to offer 10,000 children around the world free access to visitor attractions to mark the opening of Merlin Entertainments' 100th venue, Sea Life Charlotte-Concord in the USA.
Children from Spa School, Coin Street nursery, Evelina London Children's Hospital, SE1 United, Friars Primary School and Oasis Academy Johanna took part in Tuesday's event organised by the Merlin's Magic Wand charity.
"We work with local organisations and charities all year round with a simple aim – to give deserving children who may not otherwise be able to experience the magic of a unique visitor attraction experiences they will remember for a lifetime," said David Sharpe, Divisional Director of Merlin Entertainments' London attractions.
"It is wonderful to see so many children coming together to laugh and play in celebration of the wonderful work Merlin's Magic Wand does not just in London, but around the world."
Merlin's South Bank attractions include the London Eye, Sea Life London Aquarium, London Dungeon and the forthcoming Shrek attraction.
