Anglican Communion leaves SE1

The permanent secretariat of the Anglican Consultative Council moves this week from its Waterloo Road building.

The Anglican Communion has been in Partnership House which proved handy for international visitors who were able to walk from Waterloo Station to the ‘Anglican HQ'. It was also within walking distance of Lambeth Palace, the Archbishop of Canterbury's residence.

The new headquarters is in a former convent in Westbourne Park's Tavistock Crescent. Also moving from Waterloo Road to W11 are the offices of the international magazine Anglican World.

The Anglican Communion's Secretary General and the staff serve the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Lambeth Conference, the Primates Meeting and the Anglican Consultative Council.

• The Anglican Communion Secretariat's new address is St Andrew's House, 16 Tavistock Crescent, W11 1AP.
