Musical entertainment was provided by the Morley College Can't Sing Choir, and stilt walkers mingled with the crowd. An ice angel had landed in front of the Globe gates. The Globe Exhibition was open free of charge and stalls included gourmet foods, jewellery, silk scarves and prints, calendars and postcards by local photographer Steve Hollingshead, based on his recent exhibition at Bankside Restaurant.

Riverside stalls provided warming drinks and hot chestnuts.
