Thieves on mopeds stealing Apple computers from SE1 offices

"In Cathedrals ward and across the north of the borough we are suffering quite considerably with office burglaries where Apple Macs are being taken," Inspector Richard Barton told Borough, Bankside & Walworth Community Council this week.

He added: "This is possibly linked to a lot of thefts of mopeds.

"The suspects are using mopeds to go along, break a window, take the computers, jump on the back of a moped and disappear.

"It's very difficult to catch up with them."
