The new sculpture is entitled Brad Pitt's Bruised Bits and is by artist Edwin Burdis.

Burdis's sculpture follows the exhibition of a green radioactive blob by Karen Tang entitled Synapsid.

Later this year a third sculpture – selected from an open call – will be unveiled.

The sculpture series has been commissioned by the VITRINE gallery which has branches in Bermondsey Street and Bermondsey Square.

Sculpture at Bermondsey Square is supported by IdeasTap, Bermondsey Square Community Fund, Arts Council England and the National Lottery.
