Man in wheelchair hit by lorry in Borough Road
A man in a wheelchair is being treated in hospital after he was hit by a tipper truck in Borough Road, close to St George's Circus.
The emergency services were called to the scene just after 8.15am on Wednesday.
The collision took place near the junction of Borough Road and Rotary Street on the approach to St George's Circus.
The wheelchair user has been taken to a south London hospital.
Borough Road remained closed whilst police investigated the incident.
No-one has been arrested.
