A new northbound bus lane on Tower Bridge Road is part of a series of changes proposed by Transport for London in connection with the new central London grid of cycle routes.
Transport for London has published a set of proposals for the junction of Tower Bridge Road and Tanner Street.
The measures include a short section of segregated cycle lane on Tanner Street between Archie Street and Tower Bridge Road.
TfL also wants to widen the carriageway of Tower Bridge Road by half a metre, and create a new northbound bus lane north of the Abbey Street junction.
Full details of the proposal are available on the TfL website.
The consultation period runs until Sunday 20 March.
