A 14-year-old boy from Rotherhithe has been accused of causing death by dangerous driving following an accident in which a teenage boy was killed in Rolls Road last year.
The boy was accused under Section 1 of the Road Traffic Act with causing death by dangerous driving, aggravated taking and driving away, failing to stop after an accident, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
He was bailed to appear at Camberwell Youth Court on Wednesday 24 March.
Jamie Hussey, 13, died of head injuries suffered in the accident in Rolls Road, Bermondsey, on 21 September 2003.
He had been collecting conkers with his best friend when he was struck by a motorcyclist.
