Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a bus on Tuesday morning.
The police and the London Ambulance Service were called to Kennington Road near the junction with Lambeth Road at about 9.20am on Tuesday morning.
The pedestrian – a 54-year-old man – was taken to a central London hospital where his condition is critical.
The driver of the bus stopped at the scene. No-one has been arrested.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command on 020 8543 5157.
