Building work could begin this autumn on the Hilton London Tower Bridge, a new four-star hotel aimed at the corporate market.
The Hilton London Tower Bridge will provide 245 guest rooms and executive suites with executive lounge, and will feature a 400-delegate conference and banqueting room. The hotel will feature a fully equipped business centre, as well as a lobby café and a ground floor signature restaurant/bar.
A planning application has been submitted for the hotel, with a view to construction commencing in Autumn 2004 with opening due late 2006. The architects for the building are Jestico + Whiles.
"Situated in the world-class More London development, the Hilton London Tower Bridge will plug a hole in our current coverage of the London market, particularly given the excellent position for easy access to the City" said Hilton's area president, Wolfgang M. Neumann.
